Choices: Are We Wise Enough to Choose?

Oh, that road of choices

Is really rough!

How to choose,

The dilemma of man.

We choose in terms

Of wisdom's wisdom,

Or wisdom's folly,

Man's wisdom,

Or man's folly.

Our lives record the antics

Of both the wise man

And the fool.

The true wise man,

Led by higher wisdom,

The fool,

Led by his own wisdom.

To each,

His own pathway

Accorded in life.

Who follows the wise man?

Who follows the fool?

A man of wisdom,

Destined in time,

To be another wise man;

A man of folly,

Destined in time,

To be another fool.

Perhaps,

The wise man,

Or the fool,

Is the one

To follow

In time. 

Choose wisely;

Become a wise man.

Choose unwisely

And be recorded

Throughout the course of history,

As one more man of folly.

Be a wise man

Or be a fool.

You choose!
