The Rules of Love: Love Thunders

Love thunders endlessly,

In the silent recesses of time and space.

Love's thunder continually,

Echoing and re-echoing,

Throughout the human realm,

Consciously, or unconsciously

Recorded by man

During the course of history.

Love's thunder reverberates

Inside eternity's realm,

In time too, as we know it;

Love's heart beating,

Like a sorrowful, aching heart,

Or a tremendously powerful, pounding heart;

Love's gentle thunder

Creates a never-ending,

Passionate, human romance,

Yet, there is always the relentless,

Pulsating sound

Of the divine heart beating,

One that cannot be fully heard

Or comprehended in total,

Much less contained by its maker.

Inevitably, love's perpetual thunder

Must finally give way

To its own, unique, expansive energy,

Explode like dynamite,

Burst out of its divine shell,

As it is predestined

To scatter its precious seeds,

That are miraculously transformed

Into human thoughts, words and deeds;

Love's thunder invariably leading to human action,

A visible manifestation of its own, pure self.

Capturing love's unique perfection,

The endless task of humankind;

A seemingly, impossible task.

It seems a responsibility far too large,

Too evasive and mysterious

For man to engage in,

And yet, love's thunder speaks plainly,

Enticing, invariably capturing man's inner ear,

His innate desires

And finally, his longing heart.

Love's perpetual thunder

Presents a unique challenge to all humankind;

The full epiphany of love's thunder

Forever waiting to be explored by man.

Listen closely and you will hear it too.
