Gravity: I Cannot Find Entanglement With Thee

Gravity,
I cannot find entanglement with thee,
For if I would,
Gasping for life,
I would be dragged downward
Forever,
Never again to rise.
The fury of the storm of words,
Encompasses me;
I am tossed about by waves
I cannot rise above.
Suddenly,
My soul soars;
My tiny, butterfly muse flies free.
Entrapped,
I cannot ever be.
The pounding of the waves,
Its rhythm,
My wrestling soul saves.
Awake, I am.
Gravity,
From thee,
I flee.
I am flying free.
Gravity,
I cannot find
Entanglement with thee.

The muse breaks free.
