Hurting: When You Cannot Cry

When you just cannot cry;
You need to find out why.
Your balance seems askew.
Now, what are you to do?

Perhaps you cannot cry
No matter how you try.
The pain goes way down deep.
It hurts too much to sleep.

You really want to mourn;
There's fear of other's scorn.
The Comforter is there;
There's naught you cannot share.

You're crying deep inside;
There's nothing you can hide.
Don't smother all those tears;
Let love embrace your fears.

Release is swift and sweet
When you're at Jesus' feet.

When you cannot cry, take it all to Jesus.
