There is a point in time
At which all life is gone;
A single thread revealed,
A path that leads beyond;
The soul soon follows there,
Departing thus, in peace;
No entanglement with life,
A total, breaking free;
A filtering of light,
No faltering of flight;
A footstep sure, a path,
Leading beyond all time
To somewhere distant,
To where the soul belongs;
Like focusing on a
treetop,
Swaying in the wind;
The gathering of souls,
A man, a child in arms,
Dancing away the strife of
life;
Joy divine expressed,
Even in the midst of life's
tempest.
There is a point of no return;
That point for all to find,
Somewhere, someday;
Perhaps there too, to dance,
For inwardly we all yearn
To break free from suffering;
To move beyond despair,
Finding sooner or later,
That we all share
The synopsis, the conclusion;
In the final analysis,
The unknown realm of existence,
Beyond that which we now know,
Or
can fully comprehend
Except in terms of love,
The highest point in life;
There is a point in time,
Another found beyond
Time as we know it;
Realized only in eternity's
realm.
When is that point in time?
