Purity: On Purity

Purity of thought,

Purity of deed,

Purity of action,

High ideals to strive towards;

Seemingly impossible goals to attain

Apart from God's intervention and love;

Yet as human beings,

We have been created

To love by choice,

To strive to succeed,

To try to exceed others,

To reach higher and higher,

To go beyond impossibility

To possibility;

Purity of thought,

Purity of deed,

Purity of action,

A tremendous challenge for humankind

Perceived only in time,

Ultimately to be resolved

In eternity,

Perfection's realm of purity.

Purity is a goal towards which we all strive.
